The ocean temperature dropped to 63 and the spots have disappeared. There are black drum in the surf. When the high tide is in the mullets (aka Whiting) have been going crazy in the morning. I talked to a guy this morning with about 40 fish in his cooler, and they were all at least a foot long.They were using bloodworms.<\/p>\n

The full moon has the tide way up this week. I have been to the pier a few times but people are mostly catching a few smaller mullets here and there, and out deeper they’re biting shrimp.
