The Town of Surf City’s silence after Hurricane Florence was deafening and sent nearly everyone into a total outrage which included actual threats of violence. However, this time around, the Town of Surf City Facebook page<\/a> has been very active the last several days with great communication.<\/p>\nDorian spared Topsail Island. Electric is restored. So are sewer services. Businesses are opening back up. Water is running. After Dorian and all other hurricanes there’s a water boil in effect which is expected to be lifted around September 10th. Town Hall will reopen September 9.<\/p>\n
